When our daughter was deep in her struggle with anorexia, it often felt like we were losing her. After two hospital admissions, she was completely shut down. Her eating patterns were disrupted, her trust in others was gone, and her moods were unpredictable and intense. At that critical moment, two incredible people from Vooruit met Zorg came into our lives. Each with their own personality, they both brought positivity, calmness during crisis, and a deep commitment to our daughter’s recovery. They offered steady support, clear guidance, and were always willing to go the extra mile.

Together, we worked hard to help her rebuild a healthy eating routine and support her emotionally. It was a long road, filled with ups and downs, but today she has regained a healthier weight, her mood has stabilized, and she is slowly reclaiming her confidence. Of course, there are still challenges. Sudden mood shifts happen, but the difference now is that she’s able to recognize them and often talks openly about what’s going on. She has begun to trust again — in herself and in others — and that makes all the difference when she’s struggling.
